Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to geopolitical situation of Bhutan and Nepal. The authorseeks to define similarities and differences characteristic for their geopolitical situation. Forthis purpose he analyzes chosen factors in fields of geography, economy, social situation,ecological, political and shows development barriers. The relations of both countries withChina and India are analyzed, especially according to recent violation of Bhutan’s territorialintegrity. The author attempts to find strategic directions of Bhutan and Nepal’sdevelopment as well as potential upcoming changes in their relations with China and India.
