Summary/Abstract: The first to embark on the journey was the renowned Cluj ethnologist, Professor Ion Cuceu, who founded and led the Folklore Archive Institute of the Romanian Academy for many years. Shortly after, around mid-January 2024, the illustrious Italian scholar Aurelio Rigoli, emeritus professor of History of Popular Traditions and Ethnology at the University of Palermo, departed for the mysterious world beyond. The third scholar to take the path of no return is the prestigious philologist and dialectologist Ion Mării, professor at the "Sextil Pușcariu" Institute of Linguistics and Literary History of the Romanian Academy, Transylvanian branch.
