Polish adaptation and validation of mindfulness scale CAMS-R

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the Polish adaptation and validation of the Cognitive and Affective Mindfulness Scale-Revised (CAMS-R). The history and evolution of the concept of mindfulness is described. The theoretical underpinnings of the tool, operational definitions of mindfulness, and the relationship of mindfulness to other theoretical constructs are presented. After discussing the methodology of the tool's adaptation and validation process, the psychometric properties of the adapted version of the scale obtained during piloting are presented.
