Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the stages of construction of the Postpartum women's quality of life questionnaire, which was created for the needs of our own research. The aim of the study was to examine the sense of quality of life of women after childbirth and to establish the factors determining its level. The research sample consisted of 205 women. In the study, among others, the results of the Postpartum women's quality of life questionnaire were correlated with the results of The Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). It was found that the assessment of satisfaction with the current life situation significantly correlates with women's functioning in the areas of emotional (r=0.36), cognitive (r=0.52), physical (r=0.33), and social (r=0.56). ) and with feelings related to child care (r=0.28). Other tools used were the Hope for Success Questionnaire (KNS), and Temperament Questionnaire EAS-D adult version. To analyze the test reliability, Cronbach's alpha formula (α) was used. The α coefficient in the actual study reached a satisfactory value, for the subscales child care, emotional, cognitive, physical and social functioning, it was 0.74; 0.83; 0.72; 0.57; 0.74.
