Summary/Abstract: The amendment of the higher education legislation in September 2023 through the adoption of Law no. 199/2023 brought a series of improvements to the current regulations regarding university ethics, although in the practice of the courts, where appeals against the acts of the University Ethics Committees (UEC) will be deduced for analysis, there will still remain aspects treated with a dual regime.
