Summary/Abstract: Marcel Proust's "In Search of Lost Time" has inspired a vast body of interpretative texts, comparable to other great works of world literature. Proust's work is analyzed from various perspectives, including phenomenological, psychoanalytic, existential, structural, stylistic, sociological, historiographical, and economic. It is also a key subject in specialized literary disciplines such as textual genetics, queer studies, feminist criticism, and transmedia theory. Despite its length, Proust's text offers an authentic reading experience through its timeless themes. Interdisciplinary approaches reveal Proust's work as a document of its times and a product of financial hardship. The conference "Perspectives proustiennes / Proustian Perspectives" held in Prague in March 2023 showcased the diverse interpretative possibilities and limitations of Proust's work. Articles presented explored themes such as autofiction, polyphonic identities, simultaneous and successive temporality, and the relationship between art and non-art. The collection of texts highlights the ongoing relevance and multiplicity of interpretations in Proustian scholarship.
