Society is in constant motion, precisely for this reason the need for people to keep up with new technologies and to adapt quickly is more and more important and this fact can also be observed during this election period. Classical democracy has had to adapt and respond to the new challenges brought by artificial intelligence. But, “Which is the impact of artificial intelligence on democracy?” is the question that led to the creation of this research study. The negative effects that artificial intelligence has had over time on democratic processes have been reiterated in specialized literature, but from the perspective of the benefits that artificial intelligence brings to them is a topic that still needs research and a research topic for future studies in the field.
