Summary/Abstract: This article examines the process by which traditionally trained actors transition to improvisational theatre, focusing on “He Said, She Said – An IMPRObable Comedy” at the “Ioan Slavici” Classical Theatre in Arad, Romania. As Improv gains popularity in Romanian state theatres, actors must adapt to performing without scripts, developing skills in spontaneity, adaptability and audience interaction. Through theoretical study and practical workshops, actors overcome challenges like fear of failure and learn core Improv principles. The study highlights how Improv training enhances creativity, collaboration, and stage presence, offering actors new avenues for growth beyond conventional theatre methods.
