Summary/Abstract: The article presents a summary analysis of the new legislative regulations at European level, which will be followed at national level by various normative acts in order to properly implement harmonized rules on artificial intelligence. The European Union is the first global entity to have enacted such legislation in an attempt to regulate a fast-growing, dynamic sector that will change the way individuals interact with each other, with society in general and with public authorities that will have to adapt quickly to such technological developments, but above all to ensure a high level of awareness, literacy and protection of people's fundamental rights and freedoms. The interconnected world in which people and businesses operate has imposed the regulation of digital principles in order to ensure access to the Internet, its neutrality, fair and non-discriminatory access to data, the right to learn specific skills, while the list is open. Therefore, the fundamental right of users to know that they are interacting with computer algorithms, i.e. artificial intelligence is highly clear, and that they should not make decisions on behalf of individuals, but should present various options based on the information received, on the databases to which they have access. Digital assistance available anywhere, anytime means analyzing large amounts of data in real time, but it still needs to be regulated and controlled by clear and easily accessible rules.
