Summary/Abstract: The present article clarifies through the hermeneutic triptycs Man – World – God, Man – Artistic Creation – God, Man – Poetry – God, the ways in which the sacred manifests its shaping and catalytic influences of the creative experience of the human being. The author analyzes the sacred dimentions of the artistic creative experience and particularly of the poetic experience, în the mirror of the human being’s spiritual coordinate, from the perspective of Mircea Eliade’s the sacred and the profane dialectic, the Lucian Blaga’s and the German phenomenologist Rudolf Otto’s philosophy. Therefore, the author identifies a series of affinities between the religious experience and the creative experience and illustrates the means of expression which transpose the creator and its creation under the sacred’s intentionality. Among all fields of art, poetry as the result of the magical thinking, having its roots in the ritual gestures and the consecrating language of the archaic human being, transfigures, par excellence, the sacred’s imaginary. Therefore, the author establishes correspondences between the sacral feeling and the poetic experience, at the levels of the signifying reality of the poetic language, of the aesthetic emotion, of the metaphorization practice, of the direct and indirect forms of artistic transposition of numinous feelings. The conclusions converge towards the idea, postulated by the poet Cezar Ivănescu, that under the sacred’s intentionality, poetry becomes a magical art, with a strong spiritual ascension character and a nocturnal regime belonging to the mystery, a Supreme Intercessor between the sacred and the profane, through which the divine origin of the human consciousness is validated.
