Summary/Abstract: The Higher Seminary in Elbląg was established in connection with the reorganisation of the administrative structures of the Church in Poland. It resulted directly from the decision of Pope John Paul II (Bull Totus Tuus Poloniae populus of 25 March 1992) and was connected with the creation of the Diocese of Elbląg. The seminary was erected by the first Bishop of Elbląg, Andrzej Śliwiński, on 1 October 1992, and began its actual activities in Elbląg (building at 10 Bożego Ciała Street) on 8 October 1993. After more than thirty years of functioning in Elbląg, the seminarian alumni were transferred to Olsztyn in 2024. They now live in the Hosianum Seminary building and attend lectures at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. This article presents the professors and lecturers as well as the management of the Elbląg seminary in 2024.
