Summary/Abstract: Quality control is a process applicable to almost every branch of industry, and in clothing production, it is of great importance because it directly affects the appearance of the finished product. In the modern market, a wider range of customer demands and strong competition demand this kind of business philosophy from the company. There are frequent improvements in both production and technological processes, one of the methods of improvement used is quality control. In this paper, every critical production process is monitored, emphasizing possible errors and the importance of management for total quality control in apparel manufacturing on the production itself. Quality is defined as the sum of product characteristics, which should satisfy consumer requirements because the degree of satisfaction is the quality achieved. Quality control is the entire business system that is based precisely on the control of critical points of production, i.e. in places where major errors can occur. By investing in quality control alone, costs are reduced in the long run. The primary concept of statistical process control is based on comparing data obtained from production with adequate ISO standards, which draws conclusions about the success of production lines and the technological production process. By analyzing the results, errors were found in 38 pieces, which represents 0.84 % of the errors. The highest percentage of errors was records with size M which is 25 pieces (2.01 %), and the lowest with XXS (0 %). The total requested amount was 4561, and 4523 pieces of clothing were delivered, resulting in a 99.77 % delivery rate. The success of the 18 production lines, is reflected in the efficiency of the entire production. The mean success rate of all production lines is 77.90 %, which refers to the first production cycle. The second cycle, which does not require significant production processes, has a success rate, i.e. 97.60 %. In the third cycle, which requires only 3 production lines, the success rate is 100 %. To achieve the set goals of the company, management must first of all be familiar with its capabilities. Know the entire production process and critical points in it and simplify it, for easier design of the quality control system. Different tools and techniques are used to make quality control more effective. In the modern context, the first application of statistical quality control appeared in yarn production, during the late 50s of the last century, in 1981, one of the largest textile companies in the world, Milliken & Company, launched its management for total quality management, with a special commitment to customer satisfaction. The purpose of the work is the application of statistical data processing to the success of the quality control process, to improve and reduce errors made during production. In Serbia, quality control is still not widely represented, but with the arrival of new foreign companies, its importance and efficiency are starting to gain recognition.
