Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present outdoor games and entertainment in the main and additional forms of pedagogical interaction in kindergarten in the context of forming skills to support sustainable development and a healthy lifestyle sport. The author emphasizes the possibility of starting education for sustainable development in preschool age. Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and stimulating lifelong learning opportunities for all is one of the seventeen sustainable development goals adopted at the Sustainable Development Summit, established by the United Nations (UN) in 2015. For the correct perception of the concept of the program “Transforming our world: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, it is necessary to interpretate and consider it in three aspects is necessary environmental, social, economic. This paper emphasizes the need to build knowledge, skills and attitudes in preschool children to protect their own and public health and safety. A priority in the preschool education curricula is the development of hygienic habits and skills for a healthy lifestyle and sports. Understanding the meaning of sustainable development, the formation of sensitivity and a positive attitude in the child's interaction with the environment is another important aspect of education in kindergarten. In order to achieve the main goal of this article, the author makes an attempt to clarify the meaning of the concepts: outdoor games and entertainment, education for sustainable development, preschool age. To achieve the set tasks, the author refers to the State Educational Standard for Preschool Education, which in the Republic of Bulgaria is determined by Ordinance No. 5 of 03.06.2016 on preschool education in unity with Ordinance No. 13 of 21.09.2016 on civic, health, environmental and intercultural education. The game the game simultaneously as a method, form and technique should be present at all moments of the daily organization in preschool institutions, both in school and non school time. The preschool child participates in various games: didactic, story role playing, mobile, construction constructive, dramatization games, musical games, etc. This variety of games is a “tool” in the hands of the preschool teacher, which makes it possible to educate the preschool child and his all round development. Of exceptional importance for the physical development of the child are games and entertainment outdoors. In order to guarantee this condition, Regulation No. 5 of 03.06.2016 on preschool education establishes the obligation of kindergartens and schools to provide a daily minimum of two hours of outdoor time for children in full day organizations and one hour for children in half day organizations.
