Summary/Abstract: NFC (Near Field Communication) technology is among the innovations that are gradually finding more and more market applications in a number of spheres of modern life. Also known as „near field communication”, this contactless technology has long been used in payment systems and platforms for ticket verification and access control cards. NFC is gradually entering automation as well – from automatically unlocking or locking car doors, turning on GPS navigation or turning on the radio – to smart homes and buildings where more and more everyday activities are becoming automated. The possibilities in this direction are constantly expanding thanks to technological platforms such as the Internet of Things, which facilitate the remote management of various devices, appliances and systems. An additional factor in favor of the increasingly widespread application of NFC technology is the fact that it is integrated into most modern mobile phones that we constantly use to organize and facilitate our daily lives
