Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present the work of Polish military intelligence in the eraof détente. To illustrate the conditions in which it functioned, the case of the agent RoselineGadek alias ‘Rose’ was chosen, who worked at the Bibliothèque Centrale du Centre deDocu mentation de l’Armement – Central Library of the Armament Documentation Centre( CEDOCAR) in Paris and borrowed from the Library the documents needed by the PolishMinistry of Defence. In 1979, this led to the arrest of two offi cers working for Polish militaryintelligence.
