Summary/Abstract: In this article, we illustrate the crucial role of emotions in the learningprocess of Italian FL, through the theater as an excellent emotional and privileged tool, thatguarantees a lasting acquisition, showing the successful combination between body-mind thathighlights the motivation and self-esteem depending on an affective humanistic approach.Moreover, we try to emphasize the benefits of positive emotions during the learning of a foreignlanguage, through the process drama in which we found that contributes excellently to improvethe learner’s communicative, dialogic, linguistic and performative skills.
