The contribution of the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History to the selection of subjects for Moldovan postage stamps (IV)

Summary/Abstract: The author describes the mechanism that The National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History developed and implemented for the selection of subjects which are considered of major importance for reflection, represented on the stamps and postal items, issued by the State Enterprise „Poșta Moldovei”. Thus, it is established not only the degree of paternity of the museum institution over these items, but it is especially emphasized the role played by the institution in the process of publishing the philatelic-postal items. These, spreading throughout the world, bring the fame of the Republic of Moldova.
