Summary/Abstract: The herbarium from National Institute of Research and Development in Forestry „Marin Drăcea” contain 60000 samples with forest plant species (herbaceous and woody plants). The researches have determined 81 samples with plant species from 49 genre, which were collected in 35 years, starting from the year 1907 and until the year 1942. The oldest plant species in the herbarium are112 years old. All the species were collected from 9 localities from Republic of Moldova and 2 localities (Cetatea Albă and Ismail) that are now in Ukraine, by 16 romanian researchers . The samples were stored in very good conditions such that they are very well preserved, only one samples being degraded (grd.4)
