Summary/Abstract: The publication will examine in broad strokes several Bulgarian works from the genre of the novel, which will be brought together by the observation of the change in the attitudes of selected contemporary writers to depict the time and the attitude of their characters to it. This will inevitably be related to the past and the future as units in the analyzed texts. After an overview of new directions in the modern novel, the focus will be on the novel "Here Lives Yozhi" by Nadezhda Radulova.
