Summary/Abstract: The little-known urban novels “Suspended Bridge” and “Bena” by Anton Strashimirov are included in the general metaphoric field through the migrating fantastic plot about the bat and the dove, enacted in numerous speech acts. The writer is expanding the rhetorical characteristics of the metaphor to discursive strategy. Radanov is “the metaphoric” man, who reads the story and rewrites it in his erotic letters. In such way, he is discovering his own metaphors – the sensuous images of his erotic substance.
