Summary/Abstract: When shaping a literary text, the way of using language means determines the style of an individual writer. Skillfully used stylistic techniques enhance the aesthetic, emotional or intellectual appeal of a work. The content of the text is important, but a writer who can present his ideas in a unique and provocative way can increase interest in his works. Writers can cover a variety of topics using different stylistic techniques. This paper presents the means, techniques and strategies of discourse modeling used by the author Ayşe Kulin in her novel Sevdalinka. We analyzed this novel from the aspect of stylistic expression, and we primarily dealt with the analysis of stylistic figures/figure of speech as elements of discourse stylization. We analyzed this novel from the perspective of stylistic expression, focusing primarily on stylistic figures (figures of speech) as elements of discourse stylization.
