Summary/Abstract: The unfinished manuscript of Al. Teodorov-Balan’s Czech-Bulgarian dictionary is kept in the personal fund of the author in the Scientific Archive of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. This article offers a brief description of the manuscript, provides information about the sources for compiling the dictionary, and characterizes the lexicographic principles used in it. The paper also outlines the place of Teodorov-Balan’s lexicographic work in the context of his research and popularization activities during the earliest stage of his scientific career, as well as in the field of Czech-Bulgarian bilingual lexicography.
