Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the some cases desemantization when in the aspect Old Bulgarian word-formation the prefixe has only grammatical function. The linguistic material is collected from dictionaries. The study is interdisciplinary but the main method is the linguistic. The proposed article work analysis for the first time the Wey-Schoneveld effect in the Bulgarian prefix world-formation. The article also proposes approaches to understand the metaphors, connecting common topics between meaning of the prefix and simple verb.
