Summary/Abstract: The paper 'Didactical Meta-evaluation - Implicit and Explicit Assessment of the Evaluative Approaches' represents an attempt at theoretically structuring an innovative conceptual network: EVALUATION - SELF-EVALUATION - INTER-EVALUATION - META-EVALUATION. Based on the theoretical and praxiological delimitations of the four systemic notions, the paper goes on to explore the operational premises of the didactical meta-evaluation, as found in specialized studies of psychopedagogy. Finally, the article focuses on specifying the purpose, functions, forms and instruments of the didactical meta-evaluation, applying this to the argumentative competence in the Romanian language. All the theoretical and praxiological proposals are integrated into didactical scenarios that are discipline-specific for the Romanian Language and Literature taught in high school, and they are focused on situations of consolidating and evaluating the proficiency in the argumentation of one’s own opinions, written or orally. Thus structured, the paper aspires to shape a new theoretical frame and, why not, even a new philosophy in evaluation: LEARNING TO SEE in the paradigm of proficiencies and formative evaluation.
