Summary/Abstract: In 2018, an enamelled bronze fibula discovered under undocumented circumstances on the territory of Sîngerei district was recovered and transferred to the National History Museum of Moldova. The artefact is shaped like an oval brooch, measuring 2.70×3.85 cm, made from two pieces of metal. It is classified as belonging to the Cociș 24a6 type / Petković 21/C fibula type, dated to the latter half of the 2nd century AD – the beginning of the 3rd century AD. The fibula is of Roman provenance and represents the first example of this type attested in the Eastern Carpathian region.
