Summary/Abstract: The study presents a comparative analysis of regulatory responses to Uber's ridesharing services in Romania, Finland, and the Czech Republic, following the ECJ decision C434/15. It explores the nuanced approaches undertaken by each country, from Romania's strict regulations to Finland's more liberalized stance, and the Czech Republic's intermediary model. Throughout the analysis, the study discusses the concept of influence, particularly the ECJ's role in shaping these national regulatory frameworks. Despite differences, all responses aim to strike a balance between fostering innovation and addressing concerns related to fair competition and consumer rights. This study offers insights into the diverse regulatory landscapes within the EU and their implications for the future of ridesharing platforms like Uber.
