Summary/Abstract: This article presents the unpublished correspondence between the great historian Nicolae Iorga and King Carol II of Romania, which lasted almost three decades. The official letters, requests, warnings were sent to the scientist by the prince, and then by King Carol II on various occasions and kept in the Iorga family archive for more than a century. These documents are now available for research thanks to the generosity of Professor Andrei Pippidi, grandson of Nicolae Iorga, who donated them to the National History Museum of Romania.
