DEVELOPING KEY COMPETENCES THROUGH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN PRIMARY EDUCATION

Summary/Abstract: A number of international and national educational concepts focus on the formation of key competencies in students. Any competence can be developed in any subject. Religious education, although an optional subject, is not isolated and closed from the rest of the educational process, so the report examines the types of competencies that students studying Religion develop. Attention is paid to the interdisciplinary interaction and the practical orientation of the training, which are the main characteristics of the competence approach. A model of innovative pedagogical practice is presented, which gives good results.
