Summary/Abstract: This article presents the activity of the teacher and revolutionist Ivan Kostadinov Radov and his role in the Stara Zagora (Shumen) Rebellion Uprising, 1875. He is one of the participants who took part in the preparation and set-up of the Rebellion Uprising on the territory of Novi Pazar. After the Rebellion’s suppression of the uprising, the name of Ivan Kostadinov Radov remainsed a symbol of the combat for freedom and independence of the Bulgarian nation in the region of Novi Pazar.
