Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author deals with the Party staff education issue in Moldavian SSR, 1953-1960. After Stalin’s death, especially since 1956, the party condemned mainly the cult of personality. In addition, administrative methods, bureaucracy, dogmatism, pedantry, lack of attention to the process of selection and education of personnel were criticized. The main features of the personnel policy in 1953-1960: 1) the involvement of various social and professional categories; 2) promotion of the young; 3) emphasis on practical aspects of management; 4) simplification of the party education process by reduction of the number and frequency of lectures. Among the main instruments of the party in political education were: 1) the Republican Party School in Chisinau; 2) evening universities of Marxism-Leninism; 3) a network of political education of the Komsomol members and 4) cabinets of political education under the committees of the CPSU. The main result of 1950s education politics was the deep Communization of the society.
