Summary/Abstract: In the museums of the Republic of Moldova, mainly in recent years, a number of initiatives have been implemented aimed at interpreting and popularizing the cultural heritage. In this regard, it is especially important to identify and evaluate the main methods of interpretation and the types of activities that used them in order to determine its effectiveness and to take measures to improve the museum proposal, if necessary. As a result of the research, we can state that the interpretation of heritage has become one of the main tools in working with visitors to museums in the Republic of Moldova, and interpretive discourse is built by choosing the most expressive and significant means and methods for constructing exhibition concepts in order to create a special world where a visitor is invited to enter, immerse himself to interact with the exhibits, make sense of them and ultimately enrich his knowledge and ideas.
