Summary/Abstract: International judicial cooperation in criminal matters is a very topical challenge in the field of law, both due to its importance and the complexity it involves, with national and international consequences. From this remarkable angle, it should be emphasized that international legal assistance in criminal matters represents an extremely important field within international cooperation between states and is a form of international legal cooperation. In this sense, the transfer of convicted persons represents, in addition to the other forms of international legal cooperation in criminal matters, therefore, an important form of international legal cooperation, or an institution, action of international cooperation in criminal matters.
