Summary/Abstract: The Law on Combating Antisocial Behavior of Minors and Juveniles (ZBPPMN) regulates the designation of a specialist with the necessary education (psychological, pedagogical, legal) as a public educator in cases of antisocial behavior committed by minors or juveniles (8 – 14; 14 – 18). On this basis, the specialist should carry out corrective and educational activity as support for personal development. A public educator can also be appointed in cases of no anti-social behavior by a minor or juveniles, but who is in a vulnerable social situation. One of the conditions for this is that the local commission admits sufficient grounds for the determination of educational supervision, depending on the type and degree of vulnerability of the minor or juvenile.
