Summary/Abstract: This article is a contribution to agiological research in the search for answers to the question of the specificity of mystical experience. It is a theological and hagiographical study, as it provides biographical data that constitute a source for further agiological research in various aspects. Franciscan sources portray St. Clare as an “Eucharistic woman”, whose life can be defined as an Easter existence. This image represents the Franciscan charism, centred on the mystery of the Incarnation and Resurrection. The result of the causal research presented in the article is to indicate the correlation between the life story of the saint and theology, which is a reflection on the totality of events and situations in which God reveals his mystery and introduces man into it.
