Summary/Abstract: In the current concepts of pre-primary and primary education of the 21st century, it is possible to observe a turn of attention to a holistic approach in the educational goals of art education. Based on the concept of psychodidactics, the emphasis is on mental health, which is supported by educational forms such as spontaneous creation, or the development of synesthesia and fantasy. The holistic educational approach is also supported by the interdisciplinary nature of art education. In the paper, we will deal with how we develop these goals in the undergraduate training of teachers, simultaneously using the educational potential of art with an emphasis on spontaneity, gestural creation and spiritual content.
