Summary/Abstract: This study explores the phenomenon of migration of young Romanians, highlighting both the challenges and opportunities they face in their search for a better future abroad. In the context of globalization, more and more young Romanians choose to leave their native country for economic, educational and personal reasons. However, the migration process is not without difficulties, including adapting to new cultures, social isolation and professional obstacles. On the other hand, the international experience offers young Romanians significant opportunities for personal and professional development, access to quality education and personal economic growth. Migration also contributes to cultural diversity and innovation in host countries, and returning to Romania with skills and experience can support the country's socio-economic development. The article highlights the importance of adopting policies that maximize the benefits of migration, harnessing the potential of young people, both in the context of their return to the country and in supporting those who decide to stay abroad. Thus, Romania can turn the challenges of migration into opportunities for national progress.
