Summary/Abstract: The article discusses one of the many battles that took place during the Great Northern War. The text collects and analyzes every available account of the course of the Battle of Jakobstadt in 1704, from each of the participating sides: Swedish, Russian, Sapiehan and Lithuanian. The article compares these source materials and presents the most probable course of the battle.
