THE STUDING OF THE FOREIGN WRITERS IN THE ROMANIAN HIGHER EDUCATION

Summary/Abstract: The unquestionable contribution of the foreign authors to the development of particular academic fields has been further promoted in the Romanian higher education institutions, to the detriment of the national authors. The latter are barely mentioned in most of the courses, entailing therefore the erroneous idea of an insignificant contribution on their part to the respective field. Consequently, many students’ academic evolution is constrained by an alleged underperformance ascribed to the indigenous scholars.
