Summary/Abstract: The aim of this studies was to understand how the intensity of different temperament traits affects EI on adult’s whit ADHD. Additionally, an analysis of the differences in the intensity of EI and temperament between individuals with ADHD and the control group was conducted. The results indicated that individuals with ADHD exhibit lower levels of Emotional Intelligence compared to those without the diagnosis. It was also found that individuals with ADHD show higher intensities in temperament traits such as Sensory Sensitivity, Emotional Reactivity, and Perseverance, and lower intensities in Activity, Endurance, Rhythmicity, and Briskness. Correlations between IE and tempera- ment points to specific emotional and behavioral difficulties in this group, which may lead to problems in social and professional life. Understanding these relationships can contribute to better understanding of the challenges faced by adults with ADHD and the development of tailored therapeutic strategies to meet their needs.
