Recovering the Concept of "Faith" in the Spirit of Thomistic Philosophy as a Response to the Dialectical Materialism of Modernity

Summary/Abstract: Through this work we take another step together, bathed in the light of Truth and love that God has poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, in understanding the concept of "faith" with its wide implications up to our (post)modern age. If for Christians the identity between the concept of "faith" and the concept of "Truth" represents an indisputable fact, this reality is hidden under the veil of dialectical materialism that promotes unbelief. The failure of this atheistic vision is reflected in the identity crisis of modern man who has lost the fundamental landmarks of the meaning of his existence, through his rejection, his distance from traditional values. The test of certainty is given exclusively by orientation towards the original form of Truth, and everything that has not withstood this test is nothing but error or illusion. Metaphysics still springs from our collective unconscious, and including in the experiences of postmodern man, Being is the binder of all communion (existing and possible).
