Summary/Abstract: In the conditions of market economy, business organizations independently determine for themselves the strategic zone of economic activity, nomenclature and assortment of manufactured products. The quality of decisions made in these areas is crucial for the market stability of the enterprise. In the process of realization of strategic goals, the management of the range of products is of special importance. Flexibility of the assortment structure allows the enterprise to respond timely to the customer demand, as well as to manage the financial results of the enterprise. In the proposed article, this problem is considered on the example of one of the leading enterprises of the canning industry in the region.
