THE PROSPECTS BEFORE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AS REGARDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF KEY COMPETENCIES

Summary/Abstract: By implementing innovative ideas that have to do with learning Bulgarian language and literature in extracurricular activities, students acquire the necessary knowledge and competencies more quickly and effectively and develop the necessary skills in a more interesting, different and emotional way. Empathy, reflection and full team work guarantee lasting knowledge in language and literary studies and are excellent motivations for learning and achieving good results.Innovative forms and methods in the learning process aim to form and develop students' learning abilities, turning them into active participants in the learning process and placing them at the center of educational interaction.Modern education is oriented towards creating a strong connection between theory and practice, and learning should be considered a small-scale challenge, learning tasks should be authentic because only then do they inspire a well deserved interest in knowing more among learners.
