Summary/Abstract: Due to the influence of the ancient economic traditions in Italy, as well as the specific geographical conditions of the country, this encouraged the development of the economy and trade. The rapid development of industry and economy in Italian cities created a prerequisite for the beginning of the Renaissance, a phenomenon that happened for the first time precisely there. This laid the economic foundation for the nascent development of the European capitalist mode of production, for the development of the modern democratic political system, and provided a good economic foundation for the birth of the Italian operatic art.
