Summary/Abstract: The diplomatic-military mission of Major Alexandru Socec, future division general, represents one of the most beautiful and interesting moments of his career, it is truly fascinating. Having taken place in the summer of 1901, the mission awakens both the researcher’s, as well as the ordinary reader’s interest as it admirably relates the historic, political, social, military and cultural realities of the Swedish society at the beginning of the 20th century.
