Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to explore the risk elements that can cause physical and mental discomfort in Moldovan immigrant adolescents in different phases of migration: premigration, migration and postmigration. It focuses in particular on the vulnerabilities inherent in the acculturation process, related to the roles played by family, peer group, friends and the complexity of intertwining the dynamics of past traumas with the difficulties of the present and the unpromising prospects of the future.
