Summary/Abstract: Literature was/ is subjected to various theories/ideologies that were to or still are to provide practices of interpretation indispensable for any reader interested in ‘letters’. The question here is if there is ‘authentic interpretation’, or ‘authentic’, monolithic theory to have embedded the coterminous Ideology, Discourse, Literature. The answer is negative because of so many heterodoxies in the field, Structuralism, Deconstructivism, Post- Structuralism, Marxism, Lacanian psychoanalysis, Feminism, Reader-Response Criticism…, all resulting from/in other theories/theory: a vicious circle (Felperin 1986: 211-212).
