Summary/Abstract: Bidirectional communication represents the process through which the exchange of data occurs between two or more interlocutors, an information exchange that serves a corrective and self-evaluative role. The study addresses the efficiency of bidirectional communication within music education conducted at the Department of Distance and Part-Time Learning of the “Gheorghe Dima” National Academy of Music (ANMGD) in Cluj-Napoca. For testing purposes, the program organizers conducted a survey based on a questionnaire addressed to students, aiming to measure the effectiveness of the distance learning system, the collaboration with coordinators and discipline tutors within the program, the information exchange with auxiliary teaching staff and support departments, along with the evaluation of the electronic platform associated with this type of education. The analysis of the results highlighted aspects that required subsequent corrections, and the measurement of the level of bidirectional communication represents an efficient tool for self-evaluation of the distance education system.
