Report on the Second ISSP User Conference on Environmental Attitudes

Summary/Abstract: The ISSP organized its second user conference in December 2023 on the 2020 Environmental module. The ISSP environmental module deals with generic environmental attitudes and preferences for environmental protection. The Environment module of ISSP has been fielded in 2020 for the fourth time; earlier surveys were carried out in 1993, 2000, and 2010. The number of nations has expanded considerably over time, from 19 countries in 1993 to 39 in 2010. The Environment module of ISSP covers all three elements of environmental attitudes: evaluative, cognitive, and behavioral aspects.
