Summary/Abstract: The basis of this research is the urgent need to increase the number of studies of occupational stress and its varieties in an organization of specialists working with children with special educational needs. The empirical research carried out in our country on the presence of a developed „burnout syndrome” among teachers working with children with disabilities has a positive character. The purpose of the research is to establish the levels of stress and mental resilience of teachers, the negative effects and impact of this phenomenon on their behavior and work ability, on efficiency and the organization as a whole. The results indicate the need for further research involving the analysis of staff satisfaction over a period of time in order to achieve an objective and value analysis and outcome in relation to the management of burnout syndrome.
