Pedestrian and Car Accessibility to Amenity Green Areas in the Municipality of Uniejów

Summary/Abstract: This paper assesses the accessibility of amenity green areas in the municipality of Uniejów by foot and car. The area of residential buildings within 5, 10, and 15 minutes of the green areas is presented. The Database of Topographic Objects (BDOT) and OpenStreetMap (OSM) were employed to obtain the requisite data. The town of Uniejów exhibited the most optimal accessibility on foot and by car to the surveyed green space areas. Conversely, the northern and western parts of the Uniejów municipality exhibited the least optimal accessibility on foot and by car to the managed green areas. These analyses are of great importance, as accessibility to areas of managed greenery plays a pivotal role in the lives of all.
